Some gifts are given once a year. A legacy gift is given once in a lifetime — and it keeps giving for generations.
Including Chabad Your Town in your will or estate plan costs nothing today, takes only a sentence, and ensures that the Jewish life you helped build here — the classes, the holidays, the open door — carries on in your name.
A gift in your will
A bequest is the simplest legacy gift: a specific amount, a percentage of your estate, or a particular asset. It remains fully in your control during your lifetime, and it may reduce the estate taxes your family owes.
Other ways to leave a legacy
- Name us as a beneficiary of an IRA or retirement account
- Donate a paid-up life insurance policy, or name us as its beneficiary
- Give appreciated stock, real estate, or other property
- Recommend us in the succession plan of your donor-advised fund
The Living Legacy Society
Everyone who includes us in their estate plans becomes a member of our Living Legacy Society — recognized in their lifetime, if they wish, and remembered always. Telling us simply lets us say thank you; it creates no obligation and can be changed at any time.
Start the conversation — no commitment, no pressure. We would be honored to help you and your advisors find the gift that fits your family.
